The slabs of Arabescato Orobico marble are particularly appreciated for their inimitable aesthetic qualities and technical characteristics. Once resized, the block of Arabescato Orobico marble is taken to the laboratory, where – thanks to diamond blades – it is sectioned into slabs. With the use of special machinery, we proceed to the subsequent processing to obtain the finished product: the marble slab – typically sandblasted and polished. The Arabescato Orobico marble slabs enhance the inimitable aesthetic qualities of the raw stone, while preserving its technical characteristics.
The Arabescato Orobico marble features high coefficients of resistance to compression and bending stresses; and its very low imbibition coefficient ensures negligible porosity. The result is a marble with excellent resistance to frost damage and a behavior perfectly compatible not only with the typical use of the ornamental stone for flooring, interior coverings, or work surfaces; but also for uses as external coatings with a rustic surface.
Moreover, thanks to the presence of elaborate designs, the Arabescato Orobico marble is perfectly used for the creation of bookmatching works with 2 or 4 slabs. The polishing of the this precious marble slabs makes colours and arabesques look even more vivid and picturesque.
