Arabescato Orobico marble is a splendid material with a predominantly grey colouring, featuring veins in various beige/golden tones, through to pink/red intrusions. Particularly appreciated by architects, who use it for interior cladding and design elements, thanks to its high resistance to frost and thermal variations it is also suitable for exterior cladding. It offers high resistance to both stress and wear, and a very low water absorption coefficient. Its most sought-after characteristic is the book-match processing in 2 or 4 slabs, which allows spectacular mirror effects of great visual impact on large surfaces: hall flooring, suite cladding, representative rooms and ecclesiastical buildings.
Beyond large-scale cladding, Arabescato Orobico lends itself to tables, washbasin tops, bathtubs, columns and furnishing accessories, where the complexity of the veining gives each piece a unique and unrepeatable appearance. Since 1979 we have been extracting Arabescato Orobico from our quarry in San Giovanni Bianco, in the province of Bergamo, a technologically advanced underground quarry, guaranteeing minimum landscape impact and a constant supply of first-choice material.
