The blocks of Breccia Oniciata marble are extracted from quarries located in the area of the province of Brescia, in the municipality of Serle. The particular polychromy and the presence of clasts and sediments – both organic and calcified inorganic – make the Breccia Oniciata marble particularly suitable for book matching installation.

Once quarried, the blocks of Breccia Oniciata marble are then destined for transformation into slabs, tiles, design elements and used in refined bespoke works. Breccia Oniciata marble is extremely hard and resistant to both impact and wear, as well as being not very sensitive to frost: characteristics that make it very suitable for outdoor environments as well.

Breccia Oniciata marble can be used both for interiors and exteriors, as well as for walls, stairs, floors, coverings, kitchen tops and shower trays. It is available in various finishings: honed, bush-hammered, brushed, polished, hammered, sandblasted, rolled and corrugated.

The slabs of Breccia Oniciata are characterized by an extremely crystalline quality of the marble. Their colours range from beige, red, pink and grey, with the presence of various veins.

The characteristic polychromy and the presence of clasts and sediments, both organic and calcified inorganic, make the Breccia Oniciata marble particularly suitable for bookmatching installation. From our quarry, we extract a special selection of Breccia Oniciata marble, featuring the characteristic beige / brown color with peculiar blue intrusions.

Breccia Oniciata marble can be used for both outdoor and indoor coverings, as well as for floors, walls, thresholds, stairs, kitchen tops and docks. It is found in both public and private buildings and it comes in various finishings: brushed, honed, polished, hammered, striped, rolled, bush-hammered, etc.

In our Breccia Oniciata marble quarry we find rocks without stratification, composed of the cementation of clasts of all sizes in various pastel colors, in shades of beige, brown and pink.

The Breccia Oniciata marble was formed in an age between the Rhaetian and the Lias, about 205 million years ago. It is a type of marble typical of the Brescia area, one of the oldest to be extracted.
